Are You Kidding Me

I tried a discussion earlier, but it disappeared. I can’t imagine why, and yes I’m aware of the rules here, but anyway I’ve gotten some stuff accomplished today, despite a knee that is sore, and more than a little stiff. My desk is cleaned off, and I got some vacuuming done, a never ending job when you live in a rural area as we do! But here is the are you kidding me part, and that is after just going shopping, feeling a chest freezer, the fridge and the freezer, they are talking about another PSPS shut off, because we are supposed to get pretty windy, honestly the game is an old one, and they need to work on upgrading their power lines (PGE) because you know we actually like our power, I’m praying that they decide against the shut off, because I’m beyond annoyed with it.

I hate that they will turn off the power when they want to, yes I know they use the excuse of high winds but at times I wonder if it is just that, an excuse. I can't believe they take all the money from their customers and don't upgrade their equipment. Shameful. I am sorry one of your posts disappeared. I hope that doesn't become a common theme. On the day twitter took President Trump off their platform, they removed my account as well. I never cursed anyone, I never threatened anyone I support him and other conservatives and that was enough of a threat to them I guess. Good thing I had other sites to go to for the past several years. Most of the ones I had followed on Twitter were there as well so we have kept in touch. I hate we allowed out nation to come to this, that if someone has a different opinion on anything then the name calling and childish behavior shines bright.

I wasn’t even writing an opinion piece, just a basic conversation, nothing political about it, but I too am saddened by the way some are acting, it’s not right!

You are right, living in a rural area will require a lot of energy because everything is almost traditional, but it becomes good when I imagine the fresh air in the countryside and the organic food in the form of vegetables and fruits. it must all be able to strengthen my bones to the joints

The shut offs are certainly a hardship.

Yes they are, honestly I want them to fix the issues not keep shutting off every time there’s the possibility of wind!

I hate power outages. We are going to get a backup generator this year.

I wish we could have one here, but most are out of the question, maybe I’ll find an option though!

Me too, the discussion is really not that big of a deal but the potential power shut off Is bothersome we have about $600; worth of groceries between our deep freezer, our fridge and the pantries, the stuff in the pantries will be okay, but all the dairy, and the meat could potentially spoil, not to mention the popsicles, ice cream, and other goodies!

I pretty much avoid political discussions, so it wasn’t that, but I have an idea why! It wasn’t some profound discussion, so it’s no big thing!

The post was no biggie, and it looks like we were taken off the PSPS event so I’m happy about that
