Eye Doctor Visit Complete...

After I pressed submit on the last post, the device started buzzing saying it was my turn.
They rushed me back to the exam room...and the doctor dialated my eyes to check for a diabetic issue (forget the name now). I'm clear on that though.
Then he did the normal...which is better..1 or 2, and so on tests. Thankfully don't need a new prescription...has not changed in 4 years.
After they took the pictures of my eyes and checked the pressure. Was pretty easy.
My regular doctor will at least be pleased about that when I go next week.
Have you had an eye exam recently?

Thank you, it's nice to not have to change anything for another year. The doctor didn't act that way but said my eyes hadn't changed much. That's good you go annually....and I think so - he asked if anyone in my family had it.

I had an eye exam not too long ago, maybe in June. It was going well. Then I got Covid-19 and had a high fever for two weeks. I got over that and now my eyes are very painful and it hurts to blink. And I can't see clearly at all anymore.

@MommyOfEli2013 I wish it would improve. I got cataract surgery last year and the one eye was awesome. Now everything looks fuzzy or not clear.

Glad it was relatively painless. I think the worst part is just the nerves sometimes. I need to go back and get new glasses if not a new prescription.

Yes, nothing was really painful...except trying to reach the thing where you put your chin lol...Well hopefully sometime you can go back and do that

I wouldn't if it weren't for being diabetic.

@MommyOfEli2013 I had perfect vision the last time I went.
We had Medicaid. But we do get dental as part of that. So that's nifty

@thislittlepennyearns Well that is good to hear
And that's what I have but the only cover kids at my eye doctor, unless the patient is diabetic...like me. That's good that you get dental.

I have to get checked twice a year because I have glaucoma and chronic dry eye. I am due for another checkup in May. Glad yours went OK.

@MommyOfEli2013 No need to be sorry! I have eye drops for both to keep them in check.
