It was -5 c this morning and I wasn't quite sure that I would go out or my walk, but I'm on a streak and didn't want to break it. So... I put on 2 layers of everything and headed out. I certainly wasn't expecting to go more than a block or so, but to my surprise, it wasn't as bad as I expected. Managed a 30 minute walk and have to admit, by face was pretty chilled, and I was certainly glad when our house came into view. Last winter, I don't think that I went out even once, so I'm pretty pleased with myself this year. Or maybe I'm just bored to tears lol!!
So, what kind of temps do you have and have you ventured out today? Oh, forgot to tell you that Winnipeg was warmer than here. That never happens! Well, it certainly didn't happen when we lived there. It seems whenever we move, we attract miserable weather! I think that Chicago was the worst ... with snow filling up the window well. And here at home... it was beautiful. Go figure lol!

I can only dream about temps like that. Today, I just got back and I think the wind was keeping a lot of people inside. Oddly enough, it was quite nice when it was calm. I discovered a new route... which can be scary lol. I get lost easily! ;)

It wasn't that bad. If I'm being perfectly honest, anyway. It's supposed to drop tonight, but warm up again tomorrow. I like temps in the 70's. So I'll take what I can get while I can get it.

Thats about the same as here this morning. It was 24 F I can handle that if the wind is not blowing hard.

Wind chill... wish they could find a way to use it for the good... and not give us frost bite. ;)

@Hate2Iron We have talked about checking into a wind turbine for electric. It would be useful then.

'twas sunshine, breezy. the latter 'f which made our 56(f) feel like 48. not too shabby. proud 'f ya fer takin' the challenge 'n makin' 't further'n ya thought.

Can't believe that I didn't head out even once last winter. I decided that walking every day... if at possible... would be my New Year's Resolution. So far, so good. ;) I like your temps better though ;)

@Hate2Iron i'm glad ya decided such, hon. with proper clothin' such 'tis most doable. a good way to rest ones soul, 'r do battle with demons :)
ya would'a loved today here. 'twas 63(f) with barely a breeze'n loads 'f sunshine. jest a beaut.

At night we can drop down to the 40s now in Florida but the sun warms things up in the day around the 60s or low 70s but I still feel a chill in my bones

I was reading that Florida has been chilly lately but it won't be long until you have those great temps again. I really miss our house in Port Charlotte!!!

It was cold and gloomy with an occasional snowflake. Today it's cold; but the sun is out. Have a great day!

I did walk great yesterday for I covered more 11,000 steps and the calories burned is 440.
