Yeah, I’m late. My next-door neighbor saves his soda cans, and when he gets a full bag I taken them to a no-kill animal shelter so they can collect the money from them. I’m so late I forgot to sound the warning that we have country music again. You haters might actually like this one, though, because it’s quite funny. Give Back MY Heart - Lyle Lovett Lyle Lovett gained a lot of attention when he first broke onto the scene. Much of it was for his looks (his unorthodox hair style, on display in the video linked below), but much of it also for the right reasons: he was producing some great music. And oh, does he have a sense of humor, too! Songs like “She’s No Lady, She’s My Wife” got people to chuckling. This one’s pretty darn funny, too: a guy stops in a bar and gets picked up (“she said, ‘Hi, bull riders do it best’”). Despite his best efforts to avoid the “redneck woman” (“I told her redneckness has got to be a disease, you catch it on your fingers and it just crawls right up your sleeves”) they end up married.
