I hate when the power goes out. So far, we've lost power once, maybe twice and not more than four hours. Still managed to save our food, but that's because our fridge is good and brand new and we stayed out of it.

We do too, but in the middle of a heatwave when it was out for several days, it meant a lot of food spoiled...

@Michellekidwell That happened in one of our apartments, too. In fact maintenance would come into people's apartments and dispose of their food if they were gone so the spoild food wouldn't damage the fridges.
