Mother Nature Surprised Us Again

This past week we have been getting spoiled with 40 to 50 degree weather. It is still cold, but just enough to fend it off with a light jacket. We also have lots of sun, so it wasn't that bad. Being in the middle of January in the Midwest, we're not complaining. Then on my rest days, Mother Nature decided to turn everything into an icy tundra. It has been snowing for two days now. The interstate reported a couple of crashes due to icy roads, and my plans of venturing out is now out of the question. I think I can still go out later, maybe just for a coffee run. But I have my coffee here at home, everything that I need to make myself a cup that is comparable to what Starbucks can make for me. Poor husband has to work this weekend, so he's been out and cold. Tomorrow, the forecast is not any better, and as I have to be in the office, and lots of errands, so I will also have to bundle up.
