Snow does wonders for a neglected garden!

We have done very little work on our garden in recent years, our excuse being that we are having the whole lot re-landscaped in the Spring. However, a blanket of snow hides a lot of imperfections! My "office" is behind the top left-hand window. The back of the house looks a lot newer than the house next door simply because it was rebuilt and extended five years ago. The houses in the street were built more than 100 years ago - when it really was "New Street"!

Will you still be able to have the landscaping done in a few months' time?

I don't see a problem. Work can still be done outside the house - and the snow will be long gone, it might not even be there at the end of this week!

@indexer I guess you don't have to get too close to anyone and you're outside anyway.

How far are you from Torquay?

Torquay? That is a long way from here! Torquay is in south Devon whereas we are in the East Midlands.
