A lottery winner story from Canada

Deng Pravatoudom who is living in Toronto Canada shared her story on how she won the $60 million dollar jackpot in the Ontario Lottery last month since her way of playing the winning numbers was that she played the numbers based on a dream that her husband had 20 years ago.
Deng who is an immigrant from Laos came to Canada in 1980 with14 of her siblings.
Deng thanked a local church in Toronto that sponsored her move from her native nation to Canada.
Deng and her husband worked as laborers since they came to their new home. Deng who is a spiritual person prayed that all of her hard work would pay off in receiving a reward for her work one day.
One thing I will say about Deng is that she learned that perseverance paid off by playing the lottery on a regular basis and never giving up hope that a blessing of goodness would come to her and her family by winning the jackpot prize one day.
With the lottery winnings Deng intends to move out of her apartment and purchase a new home and share her wealth with her relatives.
I have heard of many methods of winning a huge prize in the lottery like playing numbers related to a person's birthday or numbers that come out of a gut feeling.
This is the first time that I know of a lottery jackpot winner who had a dream 20 years ago.

Most people who won make up stories like that.
Not sure about winning the lottery being a blessing.
Many people get themselves in debt trying to win the lottery.
Sure hope her win makes her happy.

I have heard of the horror stories of lottery winners going broke by not taking care of their winnings by buying items that they do not need.

It is just a coincidence. Lottery is a game chance. Deng is just a lucky one.

@Nakitakona You are right since I remember a former talk show host in New Orleans saying that the lottery winnings are not met for poor people to win.

i have many siblings but 10 children and up, gosh!
if deng has 14 siblings plus their own children and grandchildren, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, that can already take a chunk of that 60 million.

Deng has four children and a couple of grandchildren in her family. You are right about the money being given away to her relatives.

I am sure that Deng who is a religious person will share her winnings with her relatives and not allow success to get to her head.

@DianneN You are right since I remember a manager at a Winn Dixie store saying something to the effect that winning the huge prize is payback to all of the money that was invested to buy lottery tickets.

I know how feel since I used to play the same Pick 3 numbers of a bus number 391 which was the school bus number in Panama when I went to high school and did nor win at all.
