Scheduled shows didn't air

So I have set my DVR to record all the seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles on any channel they air on so I can watch the entire show from start to finish. As episodes air on TV they are scheduled to record and I can see that information.
There were some episodes in season 4 that were scheduled to record on January 25th and 26th from a certain network. I guess the network decided to air something else instead because those recordings were no longer scheduled. But I now see these episodes scheduled to record from a different network but they will be in February. That's a bit of a bummer but since I have to watch seasons 1-3 first and don't have any episodes to watch from season 1 yet it doesn't really matter.
I didn't know that it could happen that shows scheduled to run on a certain day on a certain network can not air and can be replaced by something else.
I wish I had decided to binge watch NCIS: Los Angeles a long time ago. I could have had most, if not all, of the seasons recorded already.

I love them, especially since I can fast forward through the commercials. Some shows have way too many commercials.

Some times the stations do change their programming for one reason or another. I hope you get to watch all of the seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles.

Thanks. I wish I had decided that I was gonna watch all the seasons months ago. I could have had most of the episodes, if not all of them, recorded already.

There is a show I love and watch called This Is Us. This Tuesday was supposed to be a recording of it but there wasn't any. I thought my DVR cancelled the recording. Turned out they didn't air the new episode due to covid. It was a rerun that aired. I had no idea about that. And same thing will happen next week.
