Feeling For Them....
Well do I know how it feels when the earth shakes.
Okay its about 4.7 on the richter scale some would say that is not that bad.
But when you get one tremor after another its like its going to start all over again.
We are in one of those troublesome spots also being right on a fault line near to Lizoain where some of the buildings have structural damage to them.
I am feeling for all of those that are petrified so much so they are sleeping out in their cars as the earth keeps trembling.
We had 2 earth quakes like them both within the hour and then it shook 21 times after that like its done to them that was about 4 months ago now.
Best memory I have of Granada is going over there and at night the scent of the olive trees is very much in the air.
You feel very much alone when this happens but the firemen have been their greatest consolers checking their homes and seeing to their safety yay for them.

Thank you its been very bad for them and they never get used to that and its very cold in Granada right now although its usually one of the hottest in summer.
No lives lost that I know of not yet thank goodness but quite a few people might have to lose their homes and they are normal very hard working people.
I can feel their angst to a point.
We are also used to the odd jolt here and there but the four months back was a night to remember it had never shaken so many times before and five miles deep so you felt like you were on a ship that was tossing and turning but all night long.

@msdivkar
This time its about a thousand miles or more really.
Even so the earthquakes we had here was very near indeed and same as Granada five miles deep underground
Lizoain is usually the epicentre here same as Granada over there.

I am terrified of earthquakes and even mild tremors send chill to me. Stay safe and take care.

Its in Granada this time Arunima but they have had the same situation as we had its not too bad the quake itself but the after tremors are worse because you have the same feeling of dread again sending them my prayers my way I don´t know of any other but I feel for them.
It has shook here a few times since them but we are more or less used to it.
You stay safe too.

@lovinangelsinstead21 They are going through terrible times. It would be a mental turmoil to live in fear of disaster all the time.

All I can say is better not to feel one at all ever but they happen here we are right on a fault line and the tremors come from five miles deep down most of the time.
We are in a mountainous area so I often think its playing up again for whatever reason.
Bad damage done in Granada.

It really is scary and it seems like it will never end specially with so many after tremors going on.

I think the worst thing for them is the long long delay in some cases waiting to get another house and being able to afford one as well be it rent or whatever.
A lot of them are houses that their parents had so you can imagine a lot are very poor and not able to get used to the idea of paying for something and nothing is or ever was cheap here and the paperwork for all of it well nuff said.
I am still feeling the earthquake of last year sometimes and if I feel it tremble I say to it oh shurrup not always but is traumatic you never get used to things like that.
They will probably a lot of them have their houses "propped up" if they are not too bad it all depends.
El Alhambra is a dream like place and its suffered a lot of damage but they must put the people first.

Yes the whole lot that goes with it unsafe land not worth a penny and all that stuff unless you made better more resistant buildings to earthquakes.
Its kind of funny that some think that in Spain there cannot be earthquakes when they have always happened not llike in Turkey of course or Nepal where they almost always suffer dire consequences.
Its a land of very hot and very cold extremes and a huge amount of mountains ye´ll nae get that in Scotland I dinnae think so.
