It has been days that I am thinking about the right vitamins for my immune system. Currently, my family and I are taking Kirkland Vitamin C. I think it is the best one for us to take. A myLotter friend @macayada suggested Multi-Vitamins (Conzace). According to her, a nurse niece got infected and claimed that she is taking this vitamin. Now, I am considering buying Conzace to add up with our Vitamin C here. Can you share some suggestions? Image Credit: images.everydayhealth.com

Most people can get what they need from food and drink. A multi-vitiamin isn't a bad idea if you aren't eating enough. It will supplement all the things the body supposedly needs.

I also think that it is a good supplement. This morning, I heard from the local TV news that it is good to eat apples, parsley, and onions to increase the immune system.

I wouldn't really have any idea but Vitamin C would seem a good one to take.

I personally don't think isolated vitamins will work well in the long run. The best way to get our vitamins is by eating food designed by God. These foods have the right vitamins that work well with the body. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables to get my vitamins and minerals and all that other goodness that I need.

I do agree that it is best to have vitamins in eating healthy food. We are trying to have fresh fruits and vegetables as much as possible.

If you eat fresh foods, fruits and specifically berries such as blue berries are high in antioxidants. Can you buy these over in your country?

The berries are not that abundant here. We do have fresh strawberries and blackberries in the public market. But then, they are quite pricey.

@MarshaMusselman I agree. It is better to keep fit than to get sick. I am sure I can do something about it.

@Shavkat it's pricey to be healthy. The hope is that it's less pricey if we remain healthy. Vitamins are pricey too. You have to decide which way to go.

I agree. We can have the natural way when being under the sun. It is best having the sunlight early in the morning.

I don't take it in form of pills. I take it by eating some fruits like oranges. Take care

We do the same thing. Having food supplements is fine, too.

I think red ginger is also good for increasing stamina and body immunity.

It is hard to find red ginger here. I heard that it is good for our bodies.

Try adding garlic to your meal. Not the slice one, but the whole unsliced garlic. Two is enough. If you can't eat it raw, roast or adding to the almost cook rice is good too.

That's nice. I heard that it is also good to have fried garlic rice. Some elders eat them fried to lower their blood pressure.

This is a good idea. I'm going to try elderberry vitamins. I've been drinking a lot of orange juice
