The family of a 12 year old girl that has special needs are grateful that U S Border Patrol Agents and the New York State Police teamed up to rescue the child that was seen at the North Grand Island Bridge. The young girl was seen walking on Interstate 190 near the crest of the bridge when a United States Patrol Agent asked to speak with her in an attempt to ask her why she was walking on a bridge, Thanks to the assistance of several New York State Patrol Officers, they were able to save the young girl who must have had some personal problems at home related to her relationship with her relatives since she came close to jumping off of the bridge into the river. A New York State Trooper grabbed the young girl and saved her from jumping off of the bridge into custody and taking away from danger. The young girl who is autistic and semi talkative was in good health as she was reunited with her family safe and sound. The U S Border Patrol and the New York State Police lived up to their motto of serving and protecting the citizens of their community.

Thank God this young girl didn't take her own life or get abducted by someone dangerous.

I agree with you on this matter since we live in an evil world.

@Deepizzaguy No twelve year old boy or girl is safe, walking alone in any state.

We watched a film about autism last night. It's good she was saved.

Glad they were able to help her. I hope she finds some one she can talk with so she doesn't feel the need to take her life again.

I'm so glad the little girl was saved. Where was her family during all of this? Makes you wonder.
