Starting New Med? + Still waiting!

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? May share more before the night is over....but not sure yet.
Anyways - I am still waiting for the results from my lab work. It is infuriating when it should be done once they get the results done - which usually happen the same day. However, it was quick when it was just the A1c and this time it was that + cholesterol panel.
I did check the pharmacy while at the store today just to see if the doc had prescribed anything new since he was checking into changing up my meds. There was no new diabetes meds, but he did add Losartan. Great, a blood pressure med?
They did fill my main diabetes med (that I have been on since 2010) for 3 months (meaning I got 360 pills).
Anyways, I just thought I would update for anyone interested (if anyone lol)

Do you have high blood pressure? Hopefully you will get your other results on Monday.

@LindaOHio Still have not got them! Not sure what the hold up is. It took them forever to get me onto the portal, now this time they are way behind on the results.

No idea if I do or not. Didn't see my blood pressure because the nurse turned the machine away from me. I sure hope the lab results get posted tomorrow...I am beyond angry!

The lab could be backed up or something. When I get my bloodwork done I'm told to wait a week before checking the patient portal. Glad you got a 90-day supply of your med for your diabetises. Might want to aske your doctor about the other one.

@MommyOfEli2013 Probably. I would ask before starting something new, though. Commcunation between the pharmcey and my doctor has been going on without my knowledge. Now I have an abundance of my pain pills and colosteral meds..... yay?

Oh no, I can't wait a week - that's way too long! Well it is not that big of a deal since the other ones are all a month supplies of them. Well if he prescribed it, he must think I need it.

@kaylachan I really don't want to deal with that, my anxiety won't allow me to do so. I have seen that issue here, but obviously the doctor wouldn't start a new one without having a reason, I wouldn't think. That's not good that you have all of those, unless you are supposed to be taking them all.

They tried to give me some blood pressure meds before but I didn't take those ones. I don't think I need these, but whatever.

The meds have never helped me, it's been eating low carb that has LOL
