An Atlanta police officer gets a thank you note

A good news story from Atlanta Georgia where a family of a motorist who is grateful that Atlanta Police Officer Bennie Hardeman was at the right place at the right time last month. A female driver had the misfortune of having her auto stop working in the middle lane of Interstate 75/85 which caused a traffic jam in December 2020. Officer Hardeman came to the scene of the incident to take the driver of the auto who is female and the mom of the family to a safe area on the side of the interstate. Officer Hardeman then called for a tow truck to remove the auto and take it to a mechanic shop to be repaired. Then either the officer or the woman made a call for her relatives to pick her up and take her home. Officer Hardeman was happy that his good work of service to a motorist who was in trouble paid off.
