Winter storm warning in effect in NYC

It's snowing and things seem pretty quiet now but there is a winter storm warning in effect from 7pm Sunday to 6am Tuesday.
We're gonna get gusty winds.
Last time I checked they said we were gonna get 10 inches of now but it will probably be more now.
They say driving tomorrow won't be good, especially towards the latter part of the day.
I don't have to drive, thankfully, but hubby does.
Hope it won't be very dangerous driving.
I am happy that it's snowing though.
Thinking of venturing outside.
Gotta go to the grocery store.
Better do it now before things get worse.

It doesn't bother me but I don't have to drive anywhere. For those that drive and have to go to work that can be a problem.

@lovebuglena I did very little today, I did one load of washing and a little vacuuming and that is about it. lol Sometimes I enjoy not doing anything.

I went to the back yard to stay outside for a few minutes and get some air. Didn't really venture our. Wish I had. And I stayed home today too. Too lazy to go anywhere.

We're had a forecast originally of 4-8 inches from Sund to Monday then it switched to 5-10 inches from day to Sund then the precipitation changed to 38% with most going towards Detroit.
We woke with a dusting of snow and wind on Sunday but not more snow, yeah.
If it does snow that much hopefully your husband's work will cancel too?

Well, he called his manager today asking about tomorrow and he said the dealership will be open. Who the heck will go shop for cars in this weather? I hope they will at least close early. They are officially open till 8 pm Mondays.

We lucked out and only got a couple of inches. Nothing like the Christmas storm where we got over 12 inches. Stay safe and warm.

DeBlasio said that everyone who is not essential or emergency people should stay off the roads until Tuesday morning, I think 6 am or something like that. Not sure if dealership was open today or not but hubby stayed home.

@LindaOHio I didn't really go walking around. Just stood in the back yard. But I do love the snow. I remember seeing someone else post about snow and they wrote it like you write it: s**w.

Hubby actually went. He told me I didn't have to come with him. He drove there but the store is by the house, which is good.
