Weird Inventions : The Goofybike / Steinlauf Bike

Now this one's for the seamstresses out there.
This contraption was invented in 1939 by Charles Steinlauf. The video below shows his family out and about while his wife tends to the sewing.
Such a weird thing to invent. I'm not sure how easy it was to sew with the constant motion of the bike.

I do not think any housewife would have enjoyed this. She would have thought it was just more work for her while her family had leisure time.

I am really glad you're enjoying them. I know it won't be long before I can't find anymore of these weird inventions though.
