Visited my doctor today after long time. I had a telephonic talk with him the other day when he asked me to drop in for further check up. Besides some weakness developed after I contracted covid. I had observed the shaking of hand when held in particular position. Doctor checked me thoroughly and assured me that there is nothing wrong and hand shake is not related to Parkinson's. He also told me that in general people have slight problems up to six months after recovery in case of covid patients. Overall a good assuring session.
When did you visit your doctor last?

I have not visited my doctor since last Feb. Now I have to get my annual complete profile blood test. I should get it done in a week time. And then will call my doctor. I will send him the copy.
It's good that the shaking is nothing much serious. With all the stories going around any simple thing also can be worrisome. Good that your doctor has neglected it and that would be a big relief. Take care.

@arunima25 This doctor friend of mine is not a commercial one like many others. So many times he showed his disgust in malpractices going on in medical field. He is one of the best cardiologists we have here.

@msdivkar It's good to have a friendly doctor. We feel comfortable. Half of our problems get solved if we get that trust and assurance in doctor. Most of doctors these days sound too business oriented and fail to develop a connection with patients.

Firstly I just want to say that when you announced you had covid I worried about you.
Ever so glad you pulled through when so many of our age groups do not.
I did know that Covid related problems do last a while after the event.
I have a shaky hand also sometimes.
Also it's like a tremor.
Glad you had a good assuring session with the doctor.
Last doctor I saw was in Hospital in Nov 19

I didn't feel anything when i got covid. It was with very mild symptoms but as time passed by some unrelated matters like anxiety cropped up. I can walk long distances without any problem but climbing 2 storeys I feel little exhausted which I never did before. Doctor assured me these are all covid related problems and they last up to 6 months. He has prescribed me a Vitamin D tablet.

You are doing really.well.
Stay positive and don't let slow progress get you down.
You were bound to be anxious at some point, we all would be.

Yes it is not a good decision to go to a hospital these days. This doctor of mine does not accept covid patients. Everybody has to take telephonic appointment before dropping in to the consultancy. He does not even admit those with cough and cold so it is safe there.
