Well.... today was....

It...interesting to say the least. I would say uneventful, but that would be lying. In fact, my morning started off with a mild thunderstorm in the sense the thunder wasn't that loud. However, the rain sure was. When I entered the bedroom to take my pills, Chilly was an ankle attachment. Meaning he was rubbing all over me and happy. He tends to get this way when a storm has concluded.
When I started my day, things were the same usual routine. So that as good.
Fast forward to later this afternoon/evening. Chilly's mood does a complete 180, and he was hissing and wanted nothing to do with me. Probably because I'd been moving quickly so I could get stuff done. Managed to get him into the bedroom, so that's good I think. He's calmer now and I gave him treats out of my hand.
Husband is home, which is good given the Superbowl apparently recently started. Well, less crazies on the road.

My day was pretty uneventful. I went to the postbox and it was quite blustery out. Watched a few DVD's of Andre Rieu in the afternoon, which was nice, but other than that, not much to write home about. My brother phoned to get our shopping list that he'll have delivered and bring round tomorrow. He phoned back later to tell my Mum how much it will cost but said he couldn't find millet on Tesco's list at all. Then he said he thought millet was just for the birds. (Millet is a very healthy grain and can be used with vegetables and in soups). He then said maybe he should get me a cuttlefish! I thought, of all the cheek!

@kaylachan Cuttlefish. It's a fish that you dry out and put in bird cages for them to sharpen their beaks on!

I'm glad the day started good. I'm sorry Chilly turned a 180 on you and started hissing. I'm glad your hubby got home early.
