When he was still a young boy, Sigitor had a feeling that he was not a normal boy. He had strange feelings, and he thought that he might have been born gay. As he grew up, he resisted his giving in to these feelings, as he had an even stronger pull towards God, and to becoming a priest. And so, he studied at his seminary, for several years, and soon, he had been assigned to his first parish, as an assistant priest. During his study, the Priest, who was lecturing them, told them, that the strongest of feelings is not a feeling at all. It is a calling from God. Feelings of the body, or the mind, are less powerful, and should never override a calling from God. And so, the priest knew that his decision to become a priest was the right one for him. This priest was a good priest, and stuck to his guns, listening to God at all times, rather than any talk still coming to him from his body, or mind, which were trying still to persuade him at times, that his body-mind feelings were the real him, and not the calling of his soul. He rang up his lecturer, Monsignor, Aleph Frances, and asked him about it. This father told him, that we are threefold, as is God, we have a body, a mind, and a soul. The body-mind can be seen as one conglomerate though, and our real third person of us is the very same spirit as God's spirit, that lives in us, and in all things, when we allow it to do so, and so in this way, every part of creation has a part of God in them. This is God's spirit, which is living in them, and which should override all decisions of our lower body-mind, and which gives us God's real direction for our lives, which we should follow with our soul, not with our body-mind, in the first instance. As the body-mind will want to follow itself, but no, we should stay in our soul body, connected to this spiritual part of ourselves, and allow spirit to animate, and bring us alive in God, to follow his direction for our lives too. The priest was pleased with this answer, and he lived out his life as a dutiful worthy priest of God's then too. He obeyed the higher call of God's, not the lower calling of his flesh body, and mind. It is never easy for lesser mortals as body and mind nag and tug at our heartstrings relentlessly. For Sigitor, his calling prevails to get his priorities right. We need to stay connected to God whatever it takes - not easy though in this material world full of pleasures of the flesh and all those that glitter.

Yes, if we follow our heart's calling, rather than our ego's calling, or our flesh's wants and desires for things of the flesh, and of the Earth, we will always stay connected to God's way, for our lives then too.

@Shiva49 Yes, I have always aspired to be the servant of God, and I try to be worthy of that position in my life too.

@innertalks Yes, if our lives are inspired by love with its rootedness to our creator, then we are well on our way doing his bidding. Then the blessings are from him only and all praise to god - we are truly his servant then.

Inspiring. Whatever character we are realistically portraying, the cleanliness and purity of our heart in the eyes of our God must always be presented. It is really hard to oppose our own will, to fight for our own reasoning but we should always remember that the good and the evil fight deep within us and therefore we need to reassure ourselves that the good should always win. The flesh remains while we live and once we expire our spiritual beings reunite with our creator and that is an everlasting life.

Thanks. This topic might be seen to be a controversial, or a hot topic, these days. I wanted to show another side to it, through the eyes, of a Priest, like this man was, in my story. You make a good point also. The purity, and cleanliness of our hearts, as seen from the eyes of God, must always be an overriding priority in our lives. We should always try to keep our hearts, pure, clean and pristine, with God's loving help, of course, too.

@innertalks We can not judge, there is always a reason to what God has created.

@macayada Yes, I agree that we cannot judge, and yet there are some things that God has not created, I feel too. We create our own anger, up to a point, by allowing it to override our rational mind, for example. We cannot blame God for creating this outburst of anger in ourselves, I would say, and especially, if we then direct it at someone else.
