What is your appetizer?

In our country, one of the common appetizers is pickled papaya. My husband loves the way my friend makes it. It is a bit sweet with onion and spices. My favorite appetizer is nothing but chili. Though it may sound more of a spice to the most, but to me this is my appetizer. What is your favorite appetizer?

I've never had pickled papaya. Here we often fix sausage balls. They're made with flour, cheese, and sausage, then baked.

I made yummy Keto sausage balls, and they called for almond flour instead. They were just as good, but healthier.

My favorite is probably spinach artichoke dip. Some restaurants do it better than others, but it's usually yummy.

There is no special one here. Sometimes I can have some fish sauce with vinegar.

How do you make pickle papaya? I imagine unripe papaya, cut to bite pieces and soak with spices, salt and sugar.

I'm usually not one to eat them. I typically get main courses, only.
