Saying 'Xinnián kuàilè' Is Tiring...LOL!!!

As expected, I am going to greet all my Chinese students 'Happy New Year' in their local language 'Xinnián kuàilè.' I find it tiring though. But then, I need to do it so that rude or naughty students will be kinder to me. Are they lucky to have two New Year's Eves? Now, I am going to great all of you 'Xinnián kuàilè!' Do you celebrate this? Is your zodiac sign will be lucky for this year? Image Credit: wishesmsg.com

I just asked my student how to say it last night. I practiced a couple of times before I can say it today.

@Shavkat We must try to say it again and again, because our noses have to hold our breath a little.

@May2k8 I will forget it after this day. There is no need to stay in mind. It would be next year again if I am still working with the company.

I always prepare a Chinese dinner for the start of the Chinese New Year, it's the year of the Ox... the Rat brought a disease, let's hope this year will be better.

@LadyDuck I am so frustrated since I haven't had a confirmation email for my further study. But then, I am still holding up with my optimism with this.

I think they were advised not to travel to their hometowns. It seems that the incidence of Covid-19 is increasing again in China.

Thanks for the greeting. I also anticipated that the Chinese community here will not celebrate it the way it used to be in the past years.

I never had this in my life since we do not celebrate and practice this in the family. However, they can be seen for those who are Chinese in the community here.

No, I don't celebrate it. I know some of the words but cannot spell it perfectly My Chinese is pretty limited after all. Zhù nín xinnián kuàilè Not sure if this correct. Much easier to say it.

Even I cannot write Chinese characters and saying it will be the best option.
