Just a tip of the iceberg

Our bilimbi tree has fruits from top to bottom. The sad part is there are no takers. We have such other fruits that just lay on the ground and we dump them in our compost pits. The photo shows just a part of the tree. Do you have demand for what you grow?

@allknowing Yes, I've decided I don't have enough time left to waste any on difficult jigsaws.

Excellent and that is how it should be. Outside this city there is demand but I have not attempted it.

@allknowing I have had better luck selling than trying to give away also. People can be weird

It's call belimbing buluh here. Some would add them to curry. I saw people eating them just like that too. Sour! I can even feel it Usually I would make kerabu with it.

They yield round the year and so storing them is not necessary

How much can we consume? We do use them in our food. I also make a herbal chutney where they are added. They are good for cholesterol control

Wow that's so prolific! It's a shame they will go to waste. Although I guess compost isn't a complete waste.
