Valentine's (2021)

Valentine's Day wasn't until yesterday, Sunday. But for me, it started Friday and went until the end of yesterday. As the fiance showed up, earlier than normal, on Friday. And after a little bit of him being here we fooled around. Then our time alone together got interrupted by the maintenance guy coming over for the leak and other stuff we needed done. Once the guy left, the fiance tried getting me to open what he got me for Valentine’s, and vice versa. But I told him no, they were for Sunday. Which got him arguing with me, of course. Then after my mom got home from work, the three of us went out to eat for my her belated birthday dinner. Mom and I got the prime rib, which was so good. He tried their chicken parm and didn't like it. Saturday, I believe we mostly hung out around the house watching tv. But also went to the store and stopped by the banks atm. And then later we went back out to the store and grabbed McDonald's for dinner on the way back home. I also made myself some mini heart shaped waffles a bit later because I was still hungry. Then just two hours before midnight, the fiance wouldn't leave me alone about the gifts so I opened his, which was a new camera and $50 giftcard to Applebee's.. and let him open the 7 of his 10 that has come in. Which he liked them all. Good! Better! And after throwing his new clothes in the wash, I got my half of the keychain gift to him on my keys, and got the camera all figured out.. The pictures come out pretty good. Then we talked about what we were doing the next day, because he had promised me last time he was here to take me to my favorite chicken parm place which is by his house 1.5 hours away, and he hadn't mentioned it.. he claims he forgot he said it. And said he'd take me another day this week because of it being too late to reserve it. And then we ended the night watching tv and fooling around. Yesterday, Valentine's.. we woke up and got ready for the day. Even though we didn't know what we were actually going to do now. So while he did a few things on his laptop, we figured out what to do, and I took some random photos of me, then we left. To Olive Garden. Somewhere I've only been going since last year. And have gone maybe four times now. Their chicken parm isn't bad. But I still would've preferred going to my favorite place. Especially for the "holiday". But he said he'd take me another day this week, so we'll see. I also took some random photos in the car. And then took more at the restaurant while we were waiting. Mostly because he doesn't want me to. *shrugs* lol. After we ate we stopped by the ice cream parlor and I got my mom the buy one get one free sundaes, and myself the chocolate vanilla twist that is my favorite. Then we went home and watched a little tv, and exercised a little.. before taking showers and watching a movie in bed. Which, wasn't any good in either of our opinions. Photo is my keychain. His is the same, but obviously the other half of the heart, which are also bottle openers.
