Mystery Shopping and house rabbits.

I have always been looking out for opportunities where I can make myself a bit of extra money. So about 20 years ago , before I started earning money online, I signed up for a Mystery Shopping job that was advertised in a magazine. I did not think I would actually get any work , so I was very surprised when they contacted me to tell me they had some jobs for me to do. One job involved getting an item of clothing cleaned at a local dry cleaners where I took something in to be cleaned then I had to answer some questions about this experience. Then once I had done that successfully they sent me another job. This next job involved me going to a pet shop and asking a member of staff about a certain pet. I had to ask them questions about a breed of rabbit that could be kept indoors. Apparently they were trying to get people to buy rabbits that were bred to run around the house and live with a family in the same way as a cat or dog would. I did the job okay , but I don`t know if the idea of having house rabbits actually caught on or not.

I remember that filling in the paperwork was more complicated than the task itself, and I had to wait a long time before I got paid. After that I did not do any more mystery shopping and I think that the company offering the work closed down soon after.

No, I do not know anybody who would have a rabbit as a house pet. I have seen rabbit leads being sold because some pet owners like to take their rabbits out for a walk.

@lazydaizee it's a practice that is under way to be incorporated, is training rabbits that hard?

I had a friend who owned a rabbit for a long time. It eventually passed away.

We had a white rabbit who lived for several years, she was lovely and we missed her when she passed away.

I think house rabbits are quite popular so perhaps the idea did catch on.

I think that house rabbits would make nice pets, they would be easy to look after and they can be affectionate and cuddly.
