Several years ago I went to a car boot sale and I brought a dish that I recognised as having been made by the Quimper pottery in France. I knew what it was because I had seen this sort of pottery being sold at auction on an antiques show on the television. So I wanted to find out more about collecting this sort of pottery so I brought this book about Quimper pottery. I found the book to be very interesting because it gave me a lot of information on the history of the pottery and the products being made there. Unfortunately, I also learned that the dish that I had brought was made in recent years and it was not worth as much as an older dish would have been.
