My "Like New" Sneakers

This past week, when the main roads were cleared, I went out to do some shopping. I happened to be in a town with a huge thrift store. I rarely go in, but thought I would just browse for some shirts for work. Nada. Then, I looked for a purse. Too expensive. I did find a sandwich maker to donate to my church's donation box. The sandwich maker is going to be a part of my 40 Items of Lent. About $2.00. I do not know the exact amount cost as is present in the kitchen. What did I find for myself? I really like New Balance. However, just too expensive for me to buy brand-new. I just happened to browse the shoe section and there they were... New Balance. My size. Cost? $6.79 I grabbed them! The "Like New" New Balance are going to be comfortable at work, as I work as a barista. I bet you didn't know that. I am so happy that the roads were clear enough to stop at a thrift store to buy a much-liked pair of sneakers.

I always check the thrift stores first for clothing.
