We had a takeaway for tea

United Kingdom

To be honest we weren't going to have a takeaway at all. We had been out and done the shopping for my parents and just dropped that off with them and Rod says "I'm getting hungry"..... now, I know that this is really code for "I'm absolutely starving and need food now!" So we googled the nearest Indian restaurant ( round the corner from my parents house ) and we phoned an order through . I'm not very adventurous but I enjoyed it and I think we will be going again Saved me cooking anyway !

I used to love Indian takeaways but over the last few years I've really gone off them. They use far too much ghee and i always feel uncomfortably full by the time I've eaten less than half. We cook all of our own curries these days. No ghee at all. So much nicer. We did a vegan keema aloo today and last week an amazing vegan saag paneer.

I do that sometimes - takeout when I'm out and about and I don't want to cook at home. Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice. I love Indian food. So I would not mind that at all.

I'm not very keen on Indian food and usually settle for something that I know won't be too spicy. Butter chicken is one I can handle.

I love Indian food from time to time too. But not really a fan of curry. Mom does though.
