Elsa the Koala Celebrates Her Birthday

At the Australian Reptile Park in New South Wales Elsa, the koala who went viral all over the world after she was born in 2019 celebrated her second birthday. Videos of Elsa have had more than 10 million views since she came into this world. For Elsa's birthday, the keepers had a "koala party" where Elsa was given many cuddles. Once the excitement died down she took a nap. Elsa became a vital ambassador for all koalas which have become a threatened species with an estimate that koalas could be extinct by 2050. Elsa has grown into a healthy adult koala and becomes part of the breeding program for koalas at the Australian Reptile Park and it is hoped that she will welcome her first baby this year. Meanwhile, Elsa is continuing to spread joy all over the world.
