The Kitchen is Busy.

There are many things going on in my kitchen right now and it is just 2:45pm.
I am actually cooking beef mechado (beef cubes cooked in diced tomatoes and soy sauce) for dinner. I do not have a pressure cooker or slow cooker so I have to do it in stove.
I am boiling sweet corn cobs (3 pieces), my daughter loves it with a little butter.
Choco banana cupcakes baking inside the oven. But this time it is my daughter who prepare it while I am dicing the tomatoes. I just supervise her a bit, checking the measurements and all but it is all her doing.
It is very hot right now here.

I too love boiled corn on cob with butter but these days I am worried about my teeth(lol)

I was reading a book but decided to check and see if anyone on myLot was awake and talking. I haven't seen anyone in about an hour and a half here.
Your dinner sounds like it will be good. I hope you enjoy it.
It is 1 C outside but it is 1:25 am, so is dark out.

@rakski That's true but I'm usually up talking with you and other Filipinos as well as Malaysians all night long. But nobody was here tonight, for hours on end. It felt like a ghost town.
