Cable Companies Should Pay Us To Watch Advertisements or Commercials!

We are subscribed to Dish Network but recently dropped down to just our local channels with them.
They really did not have a whole lot to choose from that we were interested in with the package we were paying for.
We could have got other channels added onto it but we didn't want to raise our bill.
I noticed most of what we watched had a lot of commercials
I didn't pay from the get go, to watch commercials or advertisements, yet that is mostly what you see.
Needless to say, we started use Amazon Fire Stick and have so many more options and no commercials for a lot of things we watch now.
I think if the consumer watches these commercials, we should be paid to do so or at least deduct some off of our bill for doing so.
In my experience, more than half of what I seen on television, were commercials.
I am joined with a website that pays me to view advertisements. Cable companies should do the same in my opinion.
