What does it take to keep...

... a good relationship with others? For me, I am quite choosy about making friends. I do not usually befriend someone, unless if I know him or her. It needs more time before I will fully trust a person. Once he or she is my friend, I keep a good relationship with him or her by being honest and respectful.
How about you, guys?

@Shavkat Honestly, I have given a lot of chances to certain friends in the past, maybe too much. But now I don't give such chances . . . I just don't bother to maintain friendships when I already know the outcome will be disappointing.
