So I am able to bring the laptop to the authorized service center and it is still under warranty. I leave it there and they will let me know the diagnosis tomorrow or the day after. I might be slow in interacting today. But I might go to the grocery before going home.

it is my daughter's laptop. Mine is 4 years old now but I did not have any problem yet except for the charger

As long as it's still a warranty, you don't have to pay for service then usually given a week if the damage occurs again.

She cried the time that green shows. She is afraid that she will have to borrow mine and I will have nothing but phone to use when I am also working. She is very mature for her age

That's good that the laptop is still under warranty. Hopefully the repair center is honest and fixes it or replaces it with a similar machine.
