My admission to Philippine Heart Center was postponed from last Wednesday to this coming Wednesday. Hopefully, my operation to replace my mitral valve will be on Friday. It will be an open heart surgery. I trust my surgeons. They are all so good and nice to me. My cardiologist here explained to me that the surgery is considered routine and simple, because the success rate is 99%. He also said I may live until 80y/o. I suggested a stent but the doctor here said the replacement is better and the stent may not be as successful as the MVR. I leave everything to the Lord, and my surgeons as well. Prayers from my colleagues, students, family, and friends do give me hope and faith. Thanks for your time.
