I am getting ready to write out and pay some bills online for the Month of March, especially the ones that are due at the beginning of the month.
I don't mind as long as the finances are okay but when they money is short at times, it can be very stressful.
I pay some bills online and have to mail a couple of them in. Some of are taken out of the bank every month.
Wish they all could be paid online or debited but two of them can't so I have to write checks for those.

It's always something. I do not approve of automatic payments, because they only help the creditor, not the consumer.

@Chellezhere Yeah. It is just easier for me. I do not live close to places to go pay it. It saves me time and money on stamps and envelopes, and checks, by having auto pay.
I can change it if I want to but it is just easier for me like this.

@stephcjh It works when the payment is tiny. But, it is an awful thing for businesses to require of people who are struggling as it is. Unless they have Chime (that does not have fees), they are in a world of hurt if something beyond their control comes up and the money isn't there.
I have one account that is on automatic payment (because it was required at the beginning), and I am going to remove the automatic payment next month.

All but the water bill and mortgage are paid. The mortgage comes out of my bank account automatically, and the water bill, I don't know what it is yet. When I find out what the water bill is, I'll pay it.
