Going To Be Airing Out The House

I have been trying to open some windows up when it is a little warmer outside during the day.
They have been closed up all winter long.
I can't wait to get some fresh air in the house.
I can't open them in the summer because of the heat and humidity. Can you?

We rarely open the windows in our household. We have cats, and while I want to trust them, I can't be watching them all of the time. When I was growing up, some windows were occasionally opened, until the cats tore the screens. (Screens were on the inside, and windows opened outward with a crank)

Not really. Flies & other insect life like to visit to my dismay so no open windows unless there's screen to block out insects. So, when I want to air out my home it's just open up jealousies when breezes blowing the right way.
