One thing that I can never do

What is that one thing that some people enjoy but you know you could never try it because it would scare you to death? For me that would be sky diving. I am very afraid of heights.
I remember reading an article about how former US President George H W Bush sky dived for the first time on his 80th birthday. I thought at the time , how brave and I thought more power to you!

Hmm, related to skydiving.. I'd say probably ziplining. Though i do want to go on a mountain coaster in TN. I still have that fear but it's not as strong as the fear of ziplining.

@hereandthere A soldier in the army took me up on one and showed me how to fly it. We did not get caught so it was ok.

Anything with heights: flying, skydiving, ziplining, walking across that glass bottom observation platform over the Grand Canyon, climbing on a ladder......
And I don't know how that started. I didn't have that problem until I lived on the 12th floor of a high-rise.

I agree, I don't do heights. I have trouble climbing a ladder.

I don't like ladders either. Over 10 years ago, my husband was cleaning the eaves of our house and was standing on a ladder, fell off and broke his right arm.

@DaddyEvil yes, he had to have a pin stuck in the arm while it healed. Luckily it's good today.

@LeaPea2417 I was scared at first. They had to throw me into the basket. But once we were up and away, it was wonderful. Just talked about it with hubs last night. He enjoyed it, too, but we are both done.

Not sure about this.
I would probably try anything once.
I mean, if I saw someone doing something and it was safe
I would do it.
I would not to stupid stuff like tightrope walking without a safety net.

I would have no issues skydiving. It is something I look forward to doing. Bungee jumping might be a no-no for me, I'm not sure why, but I just don't trust being strapped to a bunch of rubber bands.

I had planned on going skydiving for my birthday, but the money is now going to one of my dog's surgery. I really wanted to go. But mine would be ride a motorcycle. Some would probably think, you want to jump out of a plane, but you can't handle riding on a motorcycle?! I have just known too many people who had motorcycles accidents.

Sky diving, roller coasters -- anything involving heights or tight spaces or underwater -- like going down into the sea in a submarine!
