growing fingernails

Do you grow LONG fingernails?

I grow my fingernails out just a little bit but not too far because they get in the way of me being most productive. They usually chip and break after growing so far out anyway.

I grow mine out some and it does not matter how long and they still break.

@Tina30219 Same here. Mine has grown thicker and stronger since aging but they still, chip and break.

@stephcjh I can get mine a certain length and they start breaking and theynare not that long when they break

i keep mine short for the same reason. sometimes i grow them, but they break.

Mine do too. I can never have very long fingernails. I do not liek how they slow me down from being productive either so I just keep them a bit short.

@stephcjh sometimes i get my nails done and it doesn't bother me, i can do things with long nails too. but it's just that my natural nails can't grow long and strong.

@aureategloom I have never had my nails done before. I do too much hard labor to have long nails. They would not last me long at all honestly. I have a hard time picking things up, buttoning a blouse, etc. The nails get there before my fingers do and I cannot feel what I am really trying to do in good time, lol. My nails are brittle also and chip, peel and break.

I keep my nails short and trim. Long fingernails are not good for me. I would scratch myself unconsciously, especially while sleeping.

I keep mine short now because of being on the computer. In junior high I was known as "the girl with the long, long nails"!

i used to when I was in school, since i color them sometimes. But now I cut them really short because I think it looks cleaner that way.

When I was much younger , I had the bad habit of biting my nails. I think this was due to nerves.

Yes, i let my nails grow long. It also breaks but i tried to manage it. I am not comfortable of short nails.
