Why Facebook is still advertising their website?

Facebook is a well known social media and everyone knows about it but why they are still advertising it? Let's take an example which is coca cola, it is a soft drink and everyone knows about it but they are no longer doing advertising because they know that everyone knows their business but why Facebook is still doing it?

My assumption would be for the youngest generation possibly that may not know about. Not sure though.

Maybe, but nowadays even babies have facebook profiles
