A seven year old girl and her aunt bake cookies to assist winter storm victims

North Texas residents Birdie Martin and her aunt Lindsay Billingsley used their talents of baking cookies last month after a winter storm for a bake sale with the proceeds going to assist victims of the winter storm who needed money to repair the damages to the pipes that were damaged.
The duo raised enough money to repair the damage to the home of their nanny which was very high with the deductible being $4,500 dollars.
Thanks to donations to social media to the Birdie's Bark raised $8,000 dollars which will assist her nanny repair her home.
Birdie was living with her aunt since her parents were out of town during the winter storm.
