MLB is underway. I do write a lot about sports but I seldom cover MLB games and results in my sports round up posts. I seldom bet the sport as well. I've tried betting on bases for the past couple of seasons and it was only last 2019 that I came up with a profit. The previous two seasons before that, bases kicked my behind and I striked out more times than I had a hit! Anyway, enough of the baseball analogies as this isn't a sports post. Not really anyway. Included in the post are photos of two shirts that I had in stock in my online shop. That is until it was recently purchased by a gentleman looking to add to his growing baseball shirts collection. He made an inquiry online and asked if he could get these shirts shipped to him. I replied and asked for his full details. He gave the details and then promptly sent me the payment plus the shipping fee to my bank account. The buyer has acquired baseball shirts and jerseys in the past but has yet to own any merchandise from both the Boston Red Sox and the Arizona Diamondbacks so when he saw my posted ad, he made the call immediately. Both shirts were made by Majestic and both are official MLB merchandise. Once the buyer received the shirts, the buyer reached out online to say that he was impressed and had asked for any upcoming stocks that I might have in my store. I told him that I'll include him in my mailing list so that he is informed of the arrival of new stocks. We talked some more about baseball, basketball. mma, and other sports. Making the sale felt good. It's as if I made a home run twice in a closely contested game. One home run to tie the game at the bottom of the eight and a second home run as the go ahead run to finally give the win to my team. I could hear the crowd cheering as I circle the bases and I could see my teammates giving me high fives as I reach the home plate.
