Carpet of flowers

This happened a few years ago. Our Bell fruit was loaded with flowers and they created a carpet of flowers when it was time for them to whither to make room for the fruits to form. Our compost pits were loaded with the fruits as there were far too many that we could have used. No doubt the birds and squirrels spent a lot of time on this tree Is there a demand for fruits that grow in your garden?

I am at a place where what grows in our garden most of it grows elsewhere too.

We have apples, pears (very few), plums, gooseberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, blueberries, honeyberries and we eat them all. Soft fruit goes in the freezer and apples can be stored cool and dry.

Oh, look at those flowers! Our plum trees shower the ground with flowers too, and then the excess plums drop everywhere in the summer.
