I have no trouble sleeping but sometimes I do use the repetitive therapy that helps me but may take longer than 5 minutes. When I say repetitive therapy I keep saying the same word (it could be any word) that finally puts me to sleep But here is another way where listing unconnected words and this the link below says will put one to sleep in just about 5 minutes. I have decided to try it What about you?
For people who struggle with sleep, the discovery of a truly reliable tactic for successfully drifting off into slumber likely outranks the question of intelligent life in the universe as life's most compelling mystery. After all, we’re living in a sleep-d

I really do not have a sleeping problem since when I decide to sleep it takes a few minutes to half an hour to lull me to slumber. But there are days where I wake up in the middle of my sleep and could not return back to sleep anymore. I guess I will try some of the tricks there and yours to to see if it works when I encounter that problem.

I think I would go crazy if I repeated one word for 5 minutes.

Not sure if that would work for me, it sounds as though it would require some thought!

You are right. It does need some thought as you have to list unconnected words

Thanks for the link. Repeating the one word sounds as though it might work too. I know you say it does, but it might work for me too is what I mean.

I tried the method suggested and find I need to think hard to list those words that are not connected but repeating the same word seemed easy.
