David Crabtree who is an English and Track and Cross Country Coach in Spring Valley California who saw that some of his students needed sneakers to wear since the sneakers that they were wearing out decided to give away sneakers that he had inside of his home that he did not need to wear anymore.
The reason that David started this movement to have his students wear sneakers from his collection was due to the fear of injury and a mental breakdown from his students who feared being injured.
His wife Lara went to work on social media to ask residents to donate their old sneakers to assist the needy children to have proper running gear.
Thanks to the donations of well wishers who answered her call for help through Go Fund Me, sneakers were donated to her home in Spring Valley.
The students who serve David are grateful that their coach was kind enough to assist them get quality sneakers to wear.
