it's almost 1:08PM here and i already had one online class. i was supposed to have practice in Foster home, but we're not allowed to go there, so now i'm waiting for my online class at 5:30PM.
it's good that i have time to do some of my tasks, i think that i'll try to do critical analysis for one subject and i should think and write about some "inspirational" people with special needs/difficulties/disabilities.
which word do you use to describe people with special needs?
do you know some inspirational people with special needs?
i would like to mention one woman with Down Syndrome from Bosnia and Herzegovina. her name is Azra Dedic, she's 25 years old and she likes art and she likes to draw, but she's also European ID-Judo champion. i'm still not sure if i'm going to write about her or i'll do some research and find someone else to write about. who would you write about?
now i'm leaving, i'll come by if i got time later. now i'm going to be busy with my critical analysis. see you

Yes. I have a nephew with special needs. He is autistic as they say it. Having one is really not easy to handle because there are times they have some tantrums and hurt themselves

that can be difficult, but i'm sure parents and everyone else gets some kind of suggestions how to deal with that.

@aureategloom there are actually new terms the government use to identify them.
I am okay with saying my son has mild autism. it does not make him any difference from others. We have all our uniqueness in our own way. We all have our own tantrums, the difference is that they cannot control them so we try to help them

here, we rarely use these terms.
i'm sure you got used to it and you know how to help him at certain times.
my brother has ADHD, it can be difficult to deal with him sometimes, but we got used to it.
