Good morning from this side of the planet.
It's 7:10 AM as I write this post and I am writing it from the comfort of my bed.
I woke up at my usual time of 5 AM but then I am still in bed. It's my monthly visitor here and I am not energetic enough to come out of bed. Had discomfort whole night with cramps and back pain. Now after lying with a hot bag for a while, I am feeling much better.
I will head to kitchen in some time to make breakfast.
I have an off day today. I am using my sick leave today. Not kept much on my to do list. I would be mostly in bed and taking rest. Will do the bare minimum.
I plan to visit doctor next week to get my annual check up done for my diabetes care and also for my endometriosis. Have not been there since pandemic. It will take couple of days to get all done. Since next week is off for me, I will get it done.
It's a warm morning, sun is pleasant and there is pleasant breeze.
I would have loved to go for some outdoor exercising on such morning. It's a perfect day for cycling and husband just left with my younger daughter to do so. Elder one has an early school and she could not join them.
Hope everyone doing good in their corner. Will mylot a while to distract myself from the discomfort.

I came to know of father's day from another post. I was only aware of one that is celebrated in June.
You must be glad to get the bright sun. I guess, now it's good time for outdoor activities and gardening

We have pleasant morning and evening. Afternoon gets quite hot with bright sun. I am sure you have enough to keep you busy and entertained indoors.
What kind of packages are you expecting??
I am planning to take good rest for two days. Anyway my body will not co-operate much for two days
Next week I plan to get all my due check up done and finish a few chores.

@oahuwriter I hope you could go out shopping and the drizzling didn't interfere.

We did had some good walks in between.Yet I have had a busy week otherwise.
At times, I had so many audio meetings and work that I could not move for hours.
I am hoping to have some change this weekend.

Well I had to travel.. some Government work.
And to my surprise, even though we used to get reports of Delhi Metro operating at 50-60% capacity, it looked more crowded.
Frankly, at times, we have to be careful but not much use being too fearful.
Yet I am a bit disgusted as to why people (esp. in Maharashtra) and now elsewhere let their guard down.
Situation is getting more serious again.
More vaccines should either get approval or be fast tracked.
Plus Marriages and other events should be curtailed back to just 25 or max 30 folks.
What use of having 100s of folks when it is just the boy and girl(later husband-wife!) who have to traverse the rest of the life!
Stricter limits are better than having lockdowns, like the one that has been imposed in Nagpur.

Planning for change on weekend...so what's the plan?? Covid cases are rising at alarming rate. So we better plan indoor things to entertain and relax ourselves.
Good that you could go for good walks. Morning is pleasant here..sun is out early and we have pleasant wind. A perfect weather for morning walk. I went for morning walk everyday this week instead of yoga. Only did my pranayam after walk.
I will be mylotting a lot on weekend..I hope too as I plan to take good rest.

Mumbai had 3k cases in a single day. Delhi has 800 plus - up from just 200 to 300 cases a few days back.
Some cities already under lockdowns.
Schools closed again in some states. The situation is indeed worrying.

I knew of a friend who went through that pain and could do nothing about it but suffer.

@arunima25 I also heard that when one gets children with it the pain disappears.

Yes, we have treatments for short term relieve but then one has to leave. I have it for last seven years and now I am just waiting for menopause. I had steroids treatment for an year in 2018, that helped with pain but came with bundle of side effects. Now I am much better with yoga, I just have pain and discomfort for first two days. Earlier I would bleed for a week or more with paralyzing pain

@allknowing I had very easy periods till my second daughter was born. I had a post partum haemorrhage during her birth and from there all complications started with my health.

I took an hour nap in the morning after my breakfast. That helped. I was much better after that but still low on energy. Should be better in a day or two.

You need to take good rest. We watched a movie as our kids' exams are over and have a short Spring (well now in a way, early Summer) break.

Much much better but still have some discomfort. Morning was bad but I felt better after some rest and an hour of morning nap.
Enjoy your spring day. I am sure you must have had a good day with your dad

Glad that I took the day off. I took a morning nap after breakfast. Was feeling much better after that.
Good that you take leave for 2 days. I also do so. Coincidentally I was getting it on weekends in last few months and that saved me from applying for a leave.

I usually take the day off on my first or 2nd day too.
Rest well~
