Day 2 of the Great Garden Makeover, and the lines are in place to show exactly where the path and the pond will be. The plan is for the path to cross the pond via a wooden bridge - all artists with an ambition to rival Monet should form an orderly queue! After I took this shot, all the grass was scraped off, together with the lines, so let's hope the guys have make a mental note of where the lines used to be!

We've had this problem before. Laid out nice lines somewhere then had to erase them to do the work.

It's a good job they did do the lines - we decided that the size marked out for the pond wasn't big enough, so we redrew it - hence the white line as well as the yellow ones. That meant that the landscaper has had to re-order a larger pond liner! Whoops!
