Making Corned Beef in the Slow Cooker

Tossed some carrots, potatoes, onions, corned beef and salt and pepper, beer and water in the slow cooker and then cooked it on low for 6 hours and put some cabbage in there too. It'll cook for a couple more hours, y'all. going to be a good dinner. If you like that kind of thing. Meant to have it for St Paddy's day but didn't make it. Should be done shortly after my girlfriend gets home and then we're going to chow down bro. The picture is the food in the slow cooker.

I thought you wrap everything in the cabbage. So the cabbage is just on top of it? Since you cook it for hours, it will be like stew?

A little bit tough but it was alright. Cooked a whole chicken last night it was way better, nice and tender.
