Twenty-two minutes of Shostakovich just might take your mind off worries!

My daughter mumbled - 'Ma, Auntie Em and Cousin Bu have CoViD. they are on quarantine. Cousin Ri is also feverish.'
Relatives and friends do text message my daughter of their maladies, as if informing the doctor of their condition already meant they would be okay.
Of course, my daughter would text back and tell them the things to do...
Right on cue, my daughter's piano recital performance from nine years ago popped on queue. So I said without thinking, why don't you suggest they watch your concerto also. Might take their minds off their worries.
Shostakovich Concerto No. 2 Opus 102 is my favorite, just because my daughter played it.
Hope you enjoy the piece.

@eileenleyva you are most welcome. How come there's no video of you and your daughter?

@allen0187 What?!!!
Youtube is a millennial thing. Millennials, I suppose, are those who were taken by friendster.
Anyone not millennial and is on youtube is delusional. Except for James Corden.

@eileenleyva Sometimes the words make me feel worse though with sadness. It all depends on my mood when listening.

@stephcjh Sometimes, song lyrics don't carry the universal truth. That's why those songs cause more depression.
I prefer classical music while driving. Except when the violin is prolonged. Makes me

Yup. For a brief moment, piano music can really ease minds off worrisome situations.
Did you watch the entirety?

Thank you.
Yes, my daughter does get that comment every time. She's really very good at the keys.

Thank you.
My daughter is a natural. It's like the piano and her are fit for each other. She just produces sounds ever pleasing to hear once she romances the black and white keys.
