Why?

This is why! I have attached a photo of a tweet that I saw yesterday. My internet provider on Monday gave us a free upgrade and it was a whooping 150+ to almost 200mbps speed. We enjoyed it for a couple of days till it went crashing down yesterday, Friday. I thought I just needed to reset the router but i was wrong. My son’s teachers cancelled all their classes because they couldn’t have online class due to an extremely slow internet. The funny thing though was we could still watch Netflix. Three different TVs were playing Netflix all at the same time. Don’t you just hate it when the internet isn’t working?

I surely hate when Internet does not work. They want to give too much to everyone, but then the system crashes.

@LadyDuck You’re using LAN cable. I can understand. Using LAN cable is actually more stable than a WiFi.

@toniganzon We have some days with a slower connection, I think it is when the lines are overloaded.

@toniganzon We have to use the router supplied by the Swiss operator Swisscom, we are also on fiber optic. We usually have a good speed. We use the computer attached to the cable, my husband is sensitive to WiFi radiation, we cannot use WiFi in the house.

I hate it when the internet does not work! Last February our internet was on and off. I kept reporting it to PLDT repair section. The problem was fixed when a technician came and installed new cables on the last week of February

@toniganzon Yes we're using fiber optic but still the connection was not perfect. But thanks to the technician who installed new cables for us, our internet connection is steadily doing great now.

@gamayngbaki Don’t buy one, get it as an add on to your PLDT.

They did. This was a public announcement on twitter. Mine is working well now this morning. I’m watching Netflix on tv, son having and online class, I’m on Mylot and it’s not slow anymore.

Yeah I really hate it when there's no internet. Thankfully it happens only once in awhile

The people in our house would go crazy when the internet stopped working all of a sudden. I hope your internet would be restored the soonest possible time.

That depends on how quick PLDT fixes the problem. It’s working but it’s just extremely slow for our preference. We could even still watch Netflix with three different TVs all working at the same time.

It's very annoying when the internet isn't working. There are times it freezes up for 1/2 hour at a time.

Here, there was an incident where the fiber optic connection between Indonesia and Singapore was disconnected a month ago and it greatly affected the speed.

Yep. At&T's been going in and out on my phone all day. Made using my phone a real joy because the signal would cut in and out. Seems to be slow, but working. No matter phone's going on the charger.

Yeah. Last week I was supposed to come over to my uncle's house to set up my computer. Well, last Monday the internet was off. My mother got the internet back on and this week I'm supposed to set up my computer, but I left the power cord at home. lol

But PLDT has had that problem for so many years now. I wish foreign investors would come in because it's monopolized here.

When the Internet was not available it was very disturbing, I had it yesterday while I was taking a school exam.

I had to use my cellphone’s 5G network but i just didn’t Mylot as i prefer to have a much more stable internet and using my keyboard when mylotting.
