Have you ever experienced your one of your shoes just broken while you were walking before ?

I did have such an experience once. That was many years ago when I was completely dress up and getting ready to attend someone's wedding ceremony. I was on my way and just leave home fora few minutes. After I cross the traffic light, one of my shoes just completed broken into half and it was so embarrass for me and I look funny when I have to walk across back ton the traffic right and walk back home like a half crippled person and jump a few steps as well. I finally made it back to my home and wonder what was going on with my shoe. I manage to find another shoes to go out again . Latter on I asked those who worked in the shoes store about my situation, they said sometimes it will happen if you don't wear your shoes for over a year. Yes, I didn't wear that pair of shoes for over a year and that's the result of it. I am not sure whether it is true or not but it was really a funny and embarrassed experience for me anyway.
